Rebuilding the bushings in my track bar and on the passenger side the bushing pushed out of the metal sleeve instead of coming out as a whole. Anyone have any advice on how to get this metal sleeve piece out?

Bushing on left was pressed out, and bushing on right is supposed to press in

I used a sawzall on mine. Just enough to cut the sleeve and then it will come out easily. Just did it two days ago matter of fact

I tried pressing it out with a ball joint press but wasn’t having any luck so I cut that bastard out lol

Yes exactly. The first end popped right out with the action of the sawzall like a slide hammer, the second one I had to knockout with a hammer and screwdriver once the cut was made but still easy enough
So you just cut it from the inside with a sawzall and it came out?
