I just acquired a set of 17'x 9" beadlocks. I currently run a set of 15"x 8.5 wheels with a set of 35 x 12.50 x 15" KO2s. I have a Currie 4" lift and Genright front fenders, and I will be adding the Currie Alum control arms as part of the new work. I have adjustable arms already, Rubicon Express. I have a 6 speed manual, SYE, Adams Driveshafts, and upgraded steering. I have lockers F&R, 4.56s, and upgraded axles, with CM shafts. Jeep is not a daily driver, but I Flat tow it behind my motor home to get to wheeling locations.
I have had good luck with the KO2s, but am willing to try something else. It is driven in snow as well as wheeled in snow. I have chains. I want to stay with a 35" tire, non sticky. Beyond that I am wide open. I will be at SEMA in Oct and can look at anything there.
Thanks.
Clay

I run Falken Wildpeak A/T3s in size 33/12.50R15. They run on pavement much smoother than the KO2s (same size) that I had before. They work great both on & off the road. Lots of Jeep people love them.

I’ve been happy with my Maxxis Razr’s but if I had a 17” wheel I would lean toward the Nitto Trail Grappler and after that probably the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT.

Edit: Whoops I see you want AT’s. I would get the Baja Boss AT, and then probably the Ridge Grappler or Terra Grappler(I’m not really sure the nuanced difference there)

Second Edit: I have the falken AT on my tundra. It’s been a good tire with minimal wear but a little noisy(could be the fault of me or the previous owner though)

My 99 Tacoma with 324K miles and I have owned it for twenty years has had six sets of BFG w/KO2's. The last sets of KO's have been nothing but trouble with street miles. KO2's look good, and they are probably great on trails, but I'm sick of them on pavement.

I have ATs now. I am open to anything but Stikys.

Then any of what I mentioned, I guess the biggest factor is to hone in on what kind of wheeling you do mostly. The MT will drive significantly worse on road but perform substantially better off road. However if your wheeling is somewhat mild, I would maybe stick with the AT.

A narrower tire will work better in snow. Might look at 255/10.5" AT type if like to play in the white stuff.

i been seeing sets of 35 x17's takeoffs from bronco's on marketplace every now and then and i think they are C's too, IIRC. not many 17's are if you care. . goodyear territories, i think they are.
