42RLE transmission acting goofy with P0700 code

Yep! I posted the final update above. The culprit for mine ended up being the shift solenoid. Replaced it August 2020 and has been shifting fine since.

    Spring Creek Colorado

Nice video! I'm hoping to run spring creek this year and the video is helpful.

Savvy slider (and corner armor) install tips

My rear fenders were cut by the PO so I can't center the sliders per the instructions. I used the front wheel well as a guide and noticed that in @Vasq pictures 2 of the factory nutserts were inside 2 holes on the sliders. I'm using that as a guide to try and be as centered as possible. Here are...

Savvy slider (and corner armor) install tips

Even better! I’ve been anxious to start but thought waiting on corners to start would be the way to go. If sliders first is the way then I can get started this weekend. As always, thanks for the help guys.

Savvy slider (and corner armor) install tips

Beautiful. Thank you! I definitely intend to go through this thread again once I have the corner armor and am ready to start tackling the install. My current thought is corner armor first then sliders so I can move them to fit snugly against the corner. Does that sound like the best way to...

Savvy slider (and corner armor) install tips

This thread has been super informative. I've got a set of Savvy sliders ready to install on my LJ but waiting on the corners to arrive so I can match them up together. I e-mailed about instructions for the sliders but never got a response. Does anyone have a copy of the slider and/or corner...

Savvy sliders with Poison Spyder corners

Any issues I should plan for when replacing the PS corners with Savvy? Overlapping mount holes cause any problems? I've been slowly transitioning over to aluminum as well so I think I'll just do it all at once.

Savvy sliders with Poison Spyder corners

Do you mind if I ask why you replaced the PS with Savvy corners? I'm leaning toward just selling the PS corners and ordering Savvy, and if that's what I'll end up wanting down the road then I'd rather avoid cutting up the PS and just do it all at once now. I've got max-bilt round tail lights...

Savvy sliders with Poison Spyder corners

I just ordered savvy sliders to replace the previous owners smitty builts (I think). Does anyone know if the savvy sliders will fit with poison spyder crusher corners? I'm thinking they probably won't and am already leaning towards ordering the savvy corners as well, but figured I'd see if...

LJ or JKU for family wheeling?

I've had and wheeled both with the family. People aren't really a problem in either one, it's all the stuff that comes with. Wife and kiddo in the LJ with recovery gear, tools, food, and room to put the soft doors just about maxes out my storage capacity in the LJ. Plenty of room in the JKU. We...

    Auxiliary Transmission Coolers

This is helpful. I'll plan to replace my (stacked plate) B&M when I refresh my cooling system since it will all be apart anyway. I didn't really like the idea of adding an additional derale in a 2nd location, too many hoses running all over.

    Auxiliary Transmission Coolers

In the side of the pan. Before the tummy tuck I would rarely get above 180, after TT it's spiked to about 240 a couple of times.

    Auxiliary Transmission Coolers

I currently have a B&M 70264 up front and was thinking of adding the derale kit with fan underneath on my LJ due to high temps after tummy tuck. Would it be a better idea to just replace the B&M with the setrab cooler instead of adding the derale?

    Slipping Transmission?

I had P0700 as well but when I purchased an app that let me read transmission codes as well it gave me P0750. My understanding of 0700 is that it's telling you there's an additional code to read on the transmission itself. For me it ended up being the shift solenoid pack.
