What did you do to your TJ today?

You must have gotten your H&R springs a while back - I've been looking for a set for months!
Yeah, it was last October-ish about when I got the Jeep. That’s when I got the shocks. It really needed shocks, desperately. Then the last couple weeks I’ve been replacing all the suspension. Now, it rides like new and no DW!

I bought the springs from Tire Rack. I just checked and it says they have them in stock. I used my year, I don’t think that matters. Price did go up, I think I paid 220-225.

Thanx for the tip, I'll check them out - but I'm betting they drop ship like everybody else and don't actually have them.

The Jeep will be resting comfortably in my parking garage for a little while. I was changing the settings on my Rancho 9000x when I noticed that the rear track bar/upper control arm bracket had completely broken off of the axle 🤬🤬 So I ordered a RockJock adjustable rear trac bar (upgraded from the shitty Procomp one), and a full set of Savvy upper and lower control arms for the front and rear. Buy once, cry once, right? 😭 since I was already in for a pretty penny I also bought a Savvy transfer case shifter kit. I had planned on upgrading these parts in the future, but it looks like my timetable has sped up. Can’t wait to get the Jeep back on the road! But for now, I’ll be waiting for Brown Santa to deliver my goodies.

On a more positive note, I replaced the door jamb switch that I had broken during the AC kit install when I took the dash off. Now my interior lights turn on when I open the passenger door once again! 🎉

Scored some half doors for a labor trade, then had a friend paint them and my hood/cowl.

Fixed it!! On the way to work the check engine light came on. When I got home I grabbed the code reader and turned the light off! Fixed! LOL :D

Actually, I have been having some issues with it missing from time to time. It kind of goes through spurts. One start up and drive it misses, and the next start up and drive it is fine. It had an episode yesterday morning on the way home from work. Then last night, the check engine light came on, even though it was running fine.

I checked the number one spark-plug wire and when I pushed down on it, I felt it kind of click back on. I think for some reason it popped up. I will keep and eye on it, and if it misses again I will see if it popped back up, and if so, I will have to get a new set of wires.

Installed new chromo shafts in the Dana 44 (upgrade excuse to fix the leaky seals). Had to rent a slide hammer to pull the outer races. Did break shoes and wheel cylinders as they were leaking. Glad the parts store is close to work as the job snowballed and required extra trips lol
