I might start making this at home.
I would take a run at that...I am just accumulating my supplies to start pickling my own veggies.
I'm making that for lunch this weekend.
Speaking of sandwiches, I explained to my loving wife again today who makes me sandwiches for lunch periodically the importance of gently layering the sliced meat in a folded fashion instead of just putting it all down flat. When it's flat you end up with a 1/4" of solid meat, makes it dense & chewy. The meat needs to be loosely folded, it makes it nice & airy, much more pleasant to chew. She said I was stupid, I threatened her with divorce.

I tried something similar to that as a keto recipe. One thing that I learned early on is you can't make a substitute for the bread of a sandwich and fool yourself into believing it's nearly the same. The whole time I'd eat one of these, or an egg bread, or a lettuce wrap, I'd ask myself what the fuck I was trying to accomplish with every bite. It just doesn't work for me. You do you, though.
