Medical, first aid and boo-boo kits; what do you carry, what should we carry?

We are a medical family, I'm an RN, former Corpsman, my wife is an RN, my son starts year 2 of RN at the end of the month. He was an EMT as I was.
I don't carry nothing lol. He has a nice kit he carries, almost a unit 1 minus the folding stretcher. I do have all the stuff needed to suture, and one of those skin staplers too. I don't know if I would ever feel the need to stich someone in the field, I don't want to close a filthy wound up to have it later get infected and dehisce. Love Quik-Clot and the RhinoRockets someone posted above too. Just want to stop the bleed and get them to a higher level of care and I can accomplish that without too much.

I did that a bunch in high school! There is a spot on your calf and forum where you can't actually feel the staple and it won't bleed!

Back in high school I remember two dumbasses messing around and one smashed the others thumb nail with a paper stapler. The staple went in, and blood came out. Those two weren't playing with a full deck. Actually, neither one made it through high school, so there's that.

Drunk and issues he needed to work through. He stapled his arm at least a half dozen times

Two tubes of Cyanoacrylate glue. If it's good enough for the medics on the battle field it's good enough for me.

I know it works, but DAMN does it burn. And then judging by my experiences with super glue, I’d probably glue my thumb to that person.

We use Vaseline to prevent that, put it where you don’t want it to stick. I had a doc tell me once, I’ve glued myself to the patient, again. Yep.

Not so much cooler just crazier....

Once I stapled a sheet of note book paper to my chest through my shirt.

Wrote on the paper "I dare you to remove this"

No one would pull the paper off, I only weighed about 129lbs as a senior and am 5'8" tall.

It was funny big guys would be like heck naw.....

Bullys would go are you really daring me....... yep.....and they would walk off.
