Anyone running these 16x7 wheels? I’ve got a line on a cheap set of 5x and am curious how they’d look on a TJ.

Nice looking wheel but the spokes are a little narrow for my taste, even narrower looking than the eccos. I like that the center cap section has some depth to it.

I wonder how did you find 5x being they are for a cherokee? How cheap? What wheels are you running now and will you have to buy all new tires for 16”?

I like the looks of those wheels and I think they'd look great on just about any Jeep with that bolt pattern. Just be aware that looks aren't everything.

Most people avoid 16" wheels. Ditching my 16" Rubicon wheels and stiff e rated tires was one of my first mods.

I started out with just the original Moab spare on my Rubicon and replaced the other four 17 inchers to match it. When I found out that my Duratrac LT235/85R16 were E rated tires I didn't worry about it. I actually figured being for a truck they'll be tougher and last longer so I bought them. I've not had any problems with them on dry roads, rain, snow or mud but...

Two years and $1700 (both tires and wheels) later I realize that there may be more than one kind of tougher. They ride harder no matter where I'm driving. At 53 yrs old it doesn't bother me physically and somehow the wife doesn't complain but that may be due to the longest trip we've ever taken with them was on the road for 3 hours with a stop for the puppy half way in. I've been wondering what the rough ride is doing, especially when off road, to the original suspension parts that didn't get off road much, if ever, in the 12 yrs 64,000 miles before those tires and I took over.

At this point I'm trying to figure out how to replace all that without the wife knowing.

Thanks for the heads up on the 16" tire limitations. I'd be buying these for a set of more street oriented tires (for commuting) so there's a decent range of 30-31" tires that fit the bill in that regard.

The choice isn't great for 16" tires but I have 3 Jeeps and 1 trailer with MOAB wheels and 16" Duratrac "C" tires on them. I bought the last set about a month ago. I'm stocking up on Ravine wheels though because I think the time is coming when 16" tires will dry up. Hopefully I'm wrong.
