About a year ago I replaced the rear main seal and oil pan gasket when I did a clutch on my 97 tj. It looks like it is leaking again 😞. Behind the valve gasket is dirty black but not wet from oil. Can anyone confirm the rear main is leaking?

I have the same thing in my manual trans. I suspect it's an RMS leak.
I will switch to Dino and observe a bit in few weeks.

I'm a young guy, what's this dino oil people keep talking about? I've never seen such.

BlueDevil Rear Main Sealer seems to cure it for most that I have read but remember I know nothing about jeeps yet :) I bought some before I even bought my first TJ lol

Try this, has a seal conditioner.

Where can one purchase this Unicorn? I found 10W-40 at Summit. Napa used to have the conventional but not anymore. Mobil's website only shows the Synthetic Blend High Mileage. Used Penz Oil High Mileage conventional for my last change definitely slowed the RMS leak but she's still drippin' - that's why I call her Leakin' Lena!
