Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

Did a custom install of Polly fill in the sound bar and dash speakers lol. Not sure what all the fuss is about, not sure I like it. Kinda seems like it dulled the sound out a bit and I have to turn it up.

This was a couple months ago, but wanted to post it, for those considering altering their current stock softop to a 'flip-ur-top' sunrider style. Do it! I should have done this mod long ago.

@fourpointzero, this is pretty cool but from your parts list I think we can put this together for a few bucks at the local hardware store.

Of course. By all means, do it up ;) But in the time that it would take to find all the accessories, fashion the two brackets and by a box of velcro, it was worth my time to spend 45 bucks and have it arrive at my doorstep. Plus, supporting the guy's little hustle.

I just started dieting two days ago. Damn you. Damn you to hell lol :D

Put in a dead pedal:

Installed a Rugged Ridge net kit on the glovebox. I took a part time job delivering pizza for Domino's, and I keep a clipboard in the car with my run sheet. Had nowhere convenient to put it then noticed the "oh shit" handle on the dash is the perfect width - but there was nothing to stop it from falling through so:

Put an iOttie phone mount on the window. Was going to mount it on the left side of the windshield like I have it in my Hyundai, but then realized that when I roll with no doors I'd better REALLY trust this mount. It's good, but I don't trust it that much so I moved it to the center lol:

Also let my inner geek make a subtle shoutout hehe. Though black may be a bit too subtle, it's almost invisible lol:

Same mount I use. Have been using it for months in just about the same location as your pic and it hasn't fallen once. Even so I still wouldn't trust it on the left side of the wheel lol

Went to replace the pads, seen pads were good but calipers were both seized/ catching. Popped them off finally with a good amount of grunting. Got new ones on, wide helped bleed the lines

Finally got around to replacing the fuel pump.
Installed a Rockford Fosgate PS-8 two days ago. Major sound improvement.
I forgot to ask, where did you end up mounting it?

[emoji1426]That wouldn't work out well in NJ. First trip out, you'd be left w no sound. Corrupt state w a lot of crooked scum.

Ordered the Tuffy conceal and carry storage drawer.
Did the same yesterday. After reading several threads on this, and having someone go through my Jeep Sunday night, I figured it was time that I got something that provided more security. Although I keep my TJ unlocked when the soft top or no top is on, and don't leave anything in the Jeep that I care about keeping, it burns me when someone goes rifling through my stuff. My TJ does not have the fold & flip driver's seat, so I ordered the Tuffy 248-1 security drawer, which is somewhat bigger than the fold & flip seat version. I also figured since I will have the seat unbolted, I will take it out and have more room to see about removing that 'security gadget' under the dash that someone added prior to my ownership.
