What did you do to your TJ today?

Set the clock. {INSERT BIANNUAL DST RANT HERE}
In Western Australia the people voted in a landslide referendum against daylight saving and here are the 3 Top reason

# 1 It makes your curtains fade?
# 2 Cows get confused with milking times?
#3 Biden cant stay up that late in summer :)

The first 2 are actually true and we are the only state not to have it!

The 3rd one is true too.(y)

The next thing I will see is an outside foot rest if you don't have a door.

We're trying to get rid of it in Florida as well, but it requires a law change at the federal level, and we have too many idiots in Washington who say "Why mess with what works?" - IT DOESN'T FUCKING "WORK", STUPIDEST IDEA EVER!

Changed the transmission fluid (at 160,000 miles, i'm not sure the PO did it...ever) - put in RedLine MTL. 1-2 shift is so much better now (5 spd manual, 4.0) and overall drives a lot better now, but still trying to work out if I can improve the shifting/driving experience - are there other things I can do to tighten things up (e.g., tighten shift linkage, etc.)? I'm new to jeeps, so not sure if there are other options apart from replacing my synchros (which I can't do), but thought I'd ask :)

Also, since I changed out the rotors, calipers and pads (including parking brake) last month, I thought I'd tighten the parking brake cable. This was the outcome:

got a new one from Amazon coming this afternoon.

Shocks are next! Rancho RS5000X!

Got the transfer case drop installed. Used the Daystar 1" drop. Good chance we'll go SYE next year, this is a cheap stop-gap until we prove the hypothesis (that we'll take this out on the trails). Not pretty, but better than the driveline vibrations we were getting.

Broke a breaker bar getting one of the bolts out, sheared the head clean off. I had no idea that's what "breaker bar" meant. That after a dozen hits with PB Blaster over a month plus heating the bolt. Somehow managed NOT to pull out the nutsert in the process, very thankful for that!

Also (mostly) installed a Smittybilt bumper/receiver hitch, the base unit that supports the swing-arm for the spare. Did that completely solo, some fancy jack work and levering with a 2x4 needed to hold the bumper in place and align holes while putting in bolts.

I had to remove one of the wheel trays to get it to fold up - it conflicted with the spare due to the backspacing of the new wheel.

As far as "mostly" installed - I'll need to drop the gas tank to get the last two mounting points. I only need it for a bike rack for now, so I'll come back to complete the installation when the tank is a little more empty. I'll also research the 15 —> 19 gallon "upgrade" and probably do that when I drop the tank.

I so wanted mine to say "LOST KOZ" but alas only 7 characters including spaces in MO. Tried other variations but just didn't have the same effect.
I sold my 2000' white Sahara to this guy from the Philippines. He liked my license plate so much he copied it and used different letters. I think it loses something in translation. My old Jeep now says "LOST CUZ".
