What did you do to your TJ today?

It's very simple, just put a drop or two of super glue where you need it then immediately put/sprinkle baking soda on the glue. Make sure you use enough to completely cover the glue. It will set up instantly and make a very hard strong wearable surface/repair. It can then be sanded/filed down to shape.
It's really easy, but practice on something first before you do it on the repair you need.
Will that work to glue two pieces together to make a stronger faster bond?

Surprisingly I had never heard of this hack...I tried it today, glue dries instantly, crazy! (glue).
I (googled) read all the chemical reaction stuff that's happening, and it really doesn't matter.
Have not tried to bond anything, but i think it actually turns to some type of plastic?

I have had some luck with that, but a lot depends on what you are trying to glue/bond together. I've been somewhat surprised with the results I've had.
I have used other ingredients in the super glue such as salt, baby powder, sugar and glass beads, but I just stick with the baking soda because it works well and seems to be the most commonly used ingredient.

So the weather finally give me a break and was sunny and a little warm here. I took advantage of it and got my half door panels painted and cleared. They seemed to have come out pretty good..

I think they match pretty good considering 15 years of fade and dirt on the others.

The paint I used is SEM. J3 code.

And here is the clear coat I used.
The sheen I think matches real close to the factory sheen.

Looks great. How many cans of paint and clear coat to complete the door panels?

Thanks..
I used one can each. It took every bit of the color and I have a very small amount of the clear left. I only bought one can of each because I was unsure about the color match and how well it would cover. If I were to do it again, I would definitely buy 2 cans of color as a buffer and especially if I were doing full door panels you would need it for sure. I think one can is ok for the half door panels and you might be able to get buy with it on the full size ones, but it's better to have a little too much than run out and wait a few days for more.
I got them on Amazon from Clarks Wholesale Paints and they had very fast shipping and good price.

My Jeep is an 01 Sport 4.0L NV3550 with JK aluminum rims and 32" tires.
Friday I had the Dana 35 upgraded from 3.07 to 3.73 gears and a Detroit Truetrac limited slip installed; need to wait on regearing the front since I am budgeting the monthly expenses.
I am sure I will hear.... "Why not 4.11's" ??
After doing quite a lot of reading; I decided that I will never go to larger tires and the Jeep is primarily a DD with the occasion trail exploration. Prior to the regear with 32' tires and 3.07 gears; the engine RPM's in 5th were 1750 @ 70 mph. Now the engine RPMs are approximately 2250 RPMs at 70 mph.

Ordered smittybilt tube fenders for the front. Shall be able to repair/cut rust from the front as well as keep some type of flair.

Rugged ridge LED light will be next
