What did you do to your TJ today?

So the weather finally give me a break and was sunny and a little warm here. I took advantage of it and got my half door panels painted and cleared. They seemed to have come out pretty good..

I think they match pretty good considering 15 years of fade and dirt on the others.

The paint I used is SEM. J3 code.

And here is the clear coat I used.
The sheen I think matches real close to the factory sheen.

After buying a set of factory style fog lights from a fellow member I discovered a problem that I didn't know I had, the infamous fog lights stay on all the time. So with the help of this forum, it was a quick 30 minute fix start to finish. I ended up using the super glue and baking soda trick since I didn't have any epoxy and I've had good luck in the past fixing things this way. Then I just filed the glue down to the correct surface.. Sorry, didn't take any before pictures, only the after, but it looked just like the ones on that thread before I fixed it..

Installed some Ten Factory 4340 Cro-Mo axle shafts with Spicer 5-760X U-joints today.

Took the time to clean, inspect, and repaint a lot of the parts. Keeps corrosion at bay, and makes inspections easier in the future.

What is that? I’ve never heard it before.

It's very simple, just put a drop or two of super glue where you need it then immediately put/sprinkle baking soda on the glue. Make sure you use enough to completely cover the glue. It will set up instantly and make a very hard strong wearable surface/repair. It can then be sanded/filed down to shape.
It's really easy, but practice on something first before you do it on the repair you need.

Did some "rock crawling" today and took before and after pics, before and after discoing the swaybar which I had never done before. It was quite and education as I also gained some insight into bump stops.

Edit: 31-10.50/ 15, no lift. I had a hard time getting back in LOL.

Before: I was in 4Lo and this was as far as I could go as the wheels lost traction

After: I made it further up the rock(could have gone over), no wheelspin.

Both left front and right rear were clear of rubbing, the rear I could fit my fingers in between, the front was too close for that but there was a gap

So this evening I put her butt to work. Didn't do a lot, but more than she usually does.. Pretty easy job, low range and locked in, it only took a tickle on the "watch this pedal" and it was out.. Easy Peasy..

I've done this several times with the big bushes in our front yard. Worked like a charm, and was much easier than digging them up

1. Installed the grill bumpers I forgot during my body lift.
2. Replaced my deteriorated rear bumpstops.
3. Remove the auxiliary cigarette lighter with this USB port. It was charging my S8plus at Fast Charging rate as well as an iPhone 7 simultaneously. From the drivers position, I can't see the voltmeter readout unless I slouch a bit. I'm 6'3" with big boy seat brackets. I think I still prefer this to cutting the flat area on the right. 👍
I had to use a step bit to open the stock hole out 1 step.

I've noticed it provides a bit of ambient lighting over the gear shift and cupholders at night. I wish I had that amount pointed towards the footwells.

Changed my spark plugs. The old ones I think were original at about 87,000. The PO didn’t do much maintenance unfortunately. I probably should have done these sooner. The electrodes were so warn down that the gaps were at over .065 which is practically more than double what it calls for. So far I noticed it starts quicker, just hope it helps with fuel consumption! Went with the Autolite Platinum AP985.
