Savvy transfer case shifter cable install?

You should have two points of adjustment - one where the cable housing goes through the tc bracket, and one at the end of the cable for the attachment clevis. Have you adjusted both of those?

Mine was a little different because I had the 241 kit but I believe the cable adjust in 4 places. It adjust at the bracket on each side and it adjust at the clevis on each end.

Does anyone know the size of the threaded area on the quick disconnect ball? I have a kit that is missing some parts that I picked up on CL for $20
Thanks

I'd email Savvy and ask.

Probably takes 3-4 hours if you count the entire time from skid plate off to skid plate back on. I recommend taking off the skid plate and the front driveshaft. Makes it much less frustrating than fighting in a tight space

How long/difficult is this install?
I removed the stock mechanism in the evening in about 30 minutes. Installed the Savvy the next morning in about an hour and a half.

Not difficult, just had to figure out how it all went together. I was also missing a cotter pin. Had to run to the store.

EDIT: I DID remove the skid plate but NOT a driveshaft

Received my 241 savvy transfer case shift cable but wondering if I have all the parts.

I have some instructions but the instructions refer to a clevis pin, clevis hitch that threads onto one end of the cable and a cotter pin. I dont have any of those parts. I have two "spring tensioned quick connects", that would thread onto the cable ends but not sure they go on both ends or not.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You have everything. The quick disconnect threaded ball joints attach to the transfer case arm and the other on the shifter arm.

The threaded clevis and clevis pin are for the 231.

When I got mine they had everything put together. That is a great way to do quality control on pieces with lots of parts. It looks like you have the answer to your question and all your parts. That's good. I did a write-up on my install:

The shift cable is near the top of my list for best mod I have done. Good luck with your install.

I can finally shift into 4WD, go figure! :) Thanks for all of your input, this job was not for the faint of heart.
Someone PLEASE tell me there is a better skip plate option, that thing was a BEAST to get back on, what a terrible design.
Also, this looks weird, think the PO had a tcase drop installed???IMG_20200502_162036.jpg

That is the correct orientation for the trans mount, trans adapter mount, and skid plate adapter for the 30/32RH from 97-02

Ok, thx for clarifying. It just looks kind of like a hodge podge of things stacked on one another. And man are those 4 nuts that go through the skid plate are hard to get to.

As far as the Savvy shifter goes, once all the factory crap is removed, it's not bad at all. I used the videos recommendation and put the 2 adjustments in the 1/2 way point & it doesn't feel like I need any adjustments as of now, got all my gears per short test drive.

Also recommend changing tcase fluid while you got everything apart, I took advantage of that and glad I did, it was a little ugly..

You aren't supposed to remove those, you are supposed to remove the ones up in the slots.
