I saw those too. I haven’t had mine long enough to give an honest opinion on the thing yet, but if it starts to loosen its grip I figure I’ll just put a rubber band around the phone holder, and keep going. If it rips off the dash after going over a curb, I’ll duct tape it back down and keep going.Thank you. I’ve been wanted to try that setup but I get fixiated on the bad reviews for something that seems fairly simple. I’m planning on replacing the head unit this week so figured time to mount the phone.
Next investment: bug screen
Where did you get those? I really like them.Installed the new transfer case shifter and two new shift knobs.

Can you provide more information? I am very interested in getting an upgraded shifter and round shift knob like this. Did you install the Savvy kit? Where did you find the shift knob?

Did all the parts come from sickspeed?I bought all of the equipment on ebay. The shifter handle was easy to install. Just remove your console and there is a pin and a spring holding it in place. If you can’t find the shifter available keep checking ebay. Seems like they sell out and then make more. I ran into this issue. The shifter knobs are from SickSpeed and they didn’t show one of them in black & red on their website so I sent them an email and they were happy to make it. I spent $30 for the handle and about $55 for both knobs. Really happy with the look and feel. Don’t want to brag but I believe my shifting has improved…

Yah, I know. That is one reason I didn't do it myself. I did the kit, just so I could at least have lights for now. I will have to have hubby help wire a 7 wire one in later. I will have 2 different plugs eventually, but I just wanted something for now.
I'm actually thinking of maybe pulling my single wheel trailer with the Jeep. I could use it to go get my chicken food. LOL Course, I mentioned that to hubby and he just rolled his eyes. LOL
The shifter was separate and the sickspeed knobs came from an approved vendor, I believe. It was free shipping on all of the items too.Did all the parts come from sickspeed?
Do you have a link to the shifter? The shifter was separate and the sickspeed knobs came from an approved vendor, I believe. It was free shipping on all of the items too.

Is this the one http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5337789113&icep_item=133014297301I just checked and did not see it available on ebay. This is what I ran into before. I had saved the ebay link for it and when I went to the website a few weeks later it was sold out. I kept checking and a month or so later they were available again.
I had considered doing what @DrDmoney did but didn't give it a try.
Yes it is. Good luck with the project.
