It's 97 degrees here in Salem, Oregon today (which is pretty damn hot for the Willamette Valley).

Anyways, I know some of you guys deal with far worse head (I lived in Phoenix for 6 years, so I know how it does), but this is hot for us.

All I can say is man I am sooooo glad I installed a top-of-the line 3 ton central air conditioner before we moved into our house. This thing just keeps it so pleasant inside!

It's been crazy hot and humid for the last several days here in NJ, hovering in the mid 90's. Right now at 9:37 it's still 89 out. Just checked the temp in the Bandor OR area and it's 61, my kind of temps. If this house would sell !

It has been unbearably hot here in Iowa the last 2 weeks 85°-90° with heat index right around 105°. We get a reprieve this weekend temps were only in the low 70's for today and tomorrow. I can deal with that.

Oregon Coast is 64 today! Typical for the coast though.

We are taking a day trip there tomorrow to enjoy the beach. Only 57 miles from where we live.

How is the new AC working out ?

Phenomenal! I went a bit oversized than what they recommended, but I am glad I did, because it takes no time at all to cool the house down. It's also very energy efficient, so the power bill is not bad at all.

Had to vacate the house for the realtor to show it so I ran a few errands. This is crazy 107 deg.

97 in NC...index of 108,
Spent the last 2 days wiring a commercial AC unit on a rooftop. No idea what the temp was but it was unbearable and probably dangerous.

Damn... That sounds unbearable. Too bad you couldn't have wired that up in the winter.

(cursing)

It's been in the high 80's/ low 90's for weeks and humid. We don't have A/C and insulation is lousy. It gets up into the high 80's in the house during the afternoon and barely cools down till around midnight.

Sweating and sticky has been the norm.
