Hello I have a 2000 jeep wrangler with the 32rh and when I shift into reverse a weird low tone whine starts to slowly appear from the transmission. it starts quiet but gets louder the longer its in reverse mostly does it when im stopped in reverse but it has done it while moving. It shifts into reverse just fine and doesn't seem to be slipping what is causing this sound?

IDK about this specifically, but whine is often times a gear mesh sound. I would triple check your fluid level. You may not be aware, but you need to check your level while running & warm, and in NEUTRAL. If you're low, use ATF+4 only. I would start there.

I have checked my transmission fluid probably way more than I should and its fine it does not smell burnt or look discolored

Could be that the torque converter or transmission pump could is getting to be worn out, leading to increased noise, especially in reverse. This usually happens over time due to wear and tear. With 177k miles it wouldn't be unheard of.

Hmm...are you certain it's coming from the transmission? If I'm right that it is gear whine (and there is no telling if I'm right!), it could be your rear diff, since in reverse it's loading the other side of the ring gear so it's not anything you hear in forward gears?

Maybe disconnect the rear driveshaft from the t-case and see if the noise persists?
