I've had an NP231J in the garage because it had a bad front output shaft bearing. I tore this thing down probably 2.5 years ago and now I've forgotten some things. Can you all help check my memory/assumptions below?

This is an NP231J that came out of an 2004 TJ 4.0 w/ automatic 42RLE.

1) The fwd output shaft brg I pulled out was an NSK 6060. But all the literature I'm seeing says it shoud be a 6060N where the N has an integrated snap ring in the outer race. But mine did not. I can only find general parts lists, is there a place to find as built part numbers?
2) Supplemental to #1, I'm looking for the parts list because I also want to change all my seals since I'm here. If I can't find it, is there any reason to think the trans input seal is different between auto and manual?
3) What locates the main input/output shaft? When I lift the whole gearbox by the rear output shaft it moves probably a quarter inch up and down, but I'm fairly certain I'm not missing any snap rings. I have the oil slinger that I might have shifted 2.5 years ago, but I imagine it's not a location feature?
4) Why do some NP231's not have tail cones? I just have the tail housing but no tail cone. In this photo, how do I tell if seal 31 is for the tail housing (item 42) or the tail cone (item 32)? It also doesn't have the oil slinger that I have (Crown number 5016615AA)

I still have the long protruding output shaft, and it was a stock driveshaft, so no SYE unless I'm just massively missing something. Basically I have this picture;

10-4.

When I look for the applications for separate extension part number, it looks like it went away with the YJ. And swapped to the extended one like you and I have (my 42RLE setup looks the same as the pic you posted too).
