What did you do to your TJ today?

Picked up my shiny new TJ at the factory.

Finished up with the fog lite replacement. MUCH brighter than the old ones. Not because of the lites themselves, they are very similar in design, but because I found a much brighter yellow LED for them.

The sun was glaring, so I couldn't do a very good brightness comparison. However the new bulbs are obviously much brighter than the old ones as this A/B shows. The new light with the new LED (R) shows up even in the bright daylight. The old one (L) doesn't show up at all although it *was* actually on.

Zorba, Do you remove and vent out the winch cover? I've always been curious about these whether they protect from environmental vs capture humidity and foster rust.

Old thinking for Jeeps from the factory was to remove spare tire covers to avoid fostering rust. I don't know how true this thinking was of wives'-tale vs reality - but it was shared. Wondering how your cover is faring to protect the winch.

And - if you're using it to protect the winch line - are you trading off rust of the electronics/wiring?

No rust, corrosion, or other problems noted thus far. It can breathe through the bottom...

Once the cover comes off it doesn't go back on until the winch is dry to avoid trapping water.

Did I miss it, which LEDs are these new ones? Asking for a friend. Me, I'm the friend.

What tires and size are those please.

The biggest and beadlocks are in the garage used for wheeling trips. These are my “road” tires 🤪 Dumbest road tire purchase ever. I usually get a AT for DD but these were so cheap! On sale and from their NOT USA factory.
