Colorado Krew Hangout

I'll let you guys know for sure. I figured it would be the cat's ass on something where balance could frequently change (mud on the tire, chunks out of the tread, gouges out of the beadlock ring). Maybe I am expecting too much?

I ran SX Swampers in both 33x15.50 and 36x12.50 on my '69 Bronco back in the 90's. I would frequently run 70 to 80 with no issues up and down both I-25 and I-80 on a spin balance. I would like figure out why these radials are so shitty at 65 to 70.

Going back to the balancing beads thing, I got my 37’s mounted on the Walker Evans beadlocks. 2 of them I got to spin balance with less than 3oz of weight per side but the other 2 were calling for 6oz +. No way to fit that and I didn’t feel like breaking down 48 beadlock bolts to rotate so I just threw 15oz of beads in both of those tires. I’d say it drives 95% good up to 85mph. A little bit of shake around 63-65 and again at 73ish but it’s minor enough I’m going to live with it for now.

I haven't had a chance to mess with mine to yet. Unfortunately, the Jeep has been sitting in the shop.

Mine is still a trash can

It seems like some of the low elevation trails should still be open given it's 60s out this week and into next.

Mine is in a storage unit, but I should probably run over there and get it out to pass emissions to re-register.

Does your unit have electrical in it?

Unfortunately no, so I just yanked the battery and figure I can bring the battery home if I need to trickle it.

None of them do apparently. At a previous company I worked at we had a job in Laredo TX. We were renting a deep storage unit. Enough to park a a truck/trailer and have shelving and a desk on the sides. It was equipped with overhead lights and multiple outlets. I've never been able to find anything like that here.
