With the amount of screws and glue I used, racking doesn't appear to be an issue. But I do have 2, 11"x8' plywood pieces available that I could screw to the backside to help.
It’s sturdy. Mine haven’t wobbled at all in the 20-ish years I’ve had them. The only thing I regret was not making sure a gallon can of paint would fit under it before building them. They were just barely too tall to slide under. A couple 2x4 spacers under each leg solved that though.
