What did you do to your TJ today?

One of my buddy’s texted “time to get another one” - i was like man, if I bring home another woman she won’t like it at all….

You could really tighten the noose. Bring home another woman, in another Jeep! ;)

Convince her the new woman identifies as a dishwasher.....

Washed it today and touched up the rock rash on the suspension & axles.

Found a missing body lift puck, lower bushing, and bolt🤦‍♂️. Now I just have to order a whole body lift for just 1 stupid pick; unless someone has an extra .😉

I’m pretty sure I have a pair of extra Savvy pucks from when I did the butt crack delete mod. I can check if you’re still in need.

My new hog ring pliers showed up around 5 this morning. But because I’m lazy I didn’t put them to use until almost 8. (I love being retired.)

Anyway, after exactly 35 minutes of leisurely work I now have new seat base foam in the drivers seat. The remaining three foam pieces are obviously a bit worn after 26 years of use, but not much. The difference is truly amazing. No more sitting at a weird angle and I can now see my whole hood from the drivers seat. I even had to adjust the steering wheel tilt up a bit so I could again see my gauge cluster. Best $90.00 I’ve spent in a long time. Summit Racing for the win!

Wasn't today but Monday. Finally pulled the trigger on Bartact seat covers, took advantage of the minimal savings for Cyber Monday. UPS says they're in Illinois today, with expected delivery to me in Michigan tomorrow. I wanted to recover the seats with original color Sahara tan and green, but the cost from the local upholstery shop was out of range for my TJ, since it's not my DD.

Nice aint it ?

Installed the new tailpipe. Cut the rusted tailpipe off a couple days ago and finally got the remainder of it out of the muffler with a Sawzall.
p.s. Added a pic for @Kiwi TJ. Triple chicken burger with Velveeta cheese. ;)
