Car pics too cool not to share

Here's some I came across in the last week or so. I can usually only get a pic of probably 1 out of 10 interesting vehicle that I come across. The Caddy and the Buick were neighbors just sitting out in the rain. I find it interesting how if I find about 3 old cars in a neighborhood, I know I'll find more, and that neighborhood was no exception. Birds of a feather I guess.

1st gen Camaro sightings are pretty common around here, but he was actually able to keep up with modern highway traffic, so I was impressed. Clearly LS swapped. ;) I think that's a Streetside Classics dealer tag on it. It's probably in their current inventory if someone wants to dig.

Chargers aren't that common around here, but this one looked like a nice driver, and it had current Oklahoma tags on it. Probably a 383/auto car.

I don't know whether you have in England zis saying "Nothing beats cubic"...and so we put a REALLY big engine in it, a wee eight, with eight liter...

Suppose I should have expected a more efficient version of "There's no replacement for displacement" from a German. :D

Sounds wicked, like borborygmi of the gods.

Not a picture, but a VERY dated joke from the late 1940s that most here will understand:

Three men were in a bar, discussing which cars they should buy their wives.
The first man said: “I’m going to buy her a Kaiser and surprise her.”
The second said: “I’m going to buy her a Frazer and amaze her.”
The third said: “I’m going to buy her a Tucker.”

That's funny, and new to me. What's old is new again.

@Wildman better order one.

Only 250 available via application for purchase by active duty/veterans only:
https://vehicles.ridefox.com/pages/jeep-commando

$70K starting price, available with optional Whipple supercharger rated @ 705 HP on standard 392 (Scat Pack) motor.

Application is very straightforward and includes a section which allows for the applicant to state their story; “Considering your military experiences and passion for Jeep, tell us in 500 words of less your story and why owning a Commando would be meaningful to you.”

It looks fun.

I quite liked Jim's narration while driving.

Wish I had the financial means to go play with something

You and me both. I had considered turning the MINI into a track toy of sorts, while more economical, these things are very relative. Motorsports is not cheap at any level.

Assuming I'd actually fit in it, this would do (and the license to drive it)...
