No I am waiting for payday to buy a new one. I'm gonna use the same shafts and see if the little gouge actually makes it vibrate
I'm not worried about vibration. I would be more worried about stretching the ear.
Do you know where one might find a measurement to check if it bent?
We were lucky spring creek was clear. It's been really mild. Speaking of SC, it's a good thing you didn't go. The boulder fields are awful now. That trail has changed a bunch in just a year or two. I didn't even recognize a part I was looking for. And just ask inkedrose...he got turtled on the same rocks as me and we both have lockers![]()

Alloy USA makes a u-joint that has a solid core and each cap is separately grease able. This makes them stronger than a regular u-joint that takes grease. Should last longer. I have been running them for 4 years now and no issues. They are a bit more but worth it.
front or rear? iāve got a stock front and rear and a spare tom woods rear

Just picked up a set of Walker Evans Beadlocks and my tire machine mounts/dismounts them with relative ease. I know finding a tire shop to work on beadlocks can be challenging, so if any of the Krew needs to mount some tires youāre welcome to come up here and use the machine. Youāll be doing the labor, happy to give guidance, and you must take your old tires with you, but we can get it done. I have a balancer, but it isnāt that great, so youāre on your own there and bring weights that fit your wheel if you want to try it. 37ās are probably the max, 38ās might squeeze in there. Send me a PM if you need help.

Looking forward to wheeling/meeting you, so far everyone Iāve met from the forum is top notch.
Iām a drive for you metro folk, east of Wellington 11 miles, but the shop is pretty well equipped and Iām more than willing to loan it as long as you take your trash with you!![]()
Did Mike tell you about the stripper glitter I failed to clean up fully one time? My wife was even asking questions about what the hell we did.
I canāt say he did, but hey, the Den is only about 20 minutes away from me if the scent of baby powder and appearance of glitter is the attraction. My wife would undoubtedly go with. Havenāt been there in about 15 years, might be time to hit it up.![]()

thatās awesome, thanks for the offer,
i personally have always wanted to try the balancing beads, but youāve got to find the right shop or do it by yourself.
