I am putting my 97 wrangler on 37s, and am currently on 35s. Please DO NOT tell me how bad of an idea this is (I don’t care), I also have trussed and gusseted 44s with 5.13s and chromalloy shafts. 4.5” Long arm kit and 241 t case as well.

My only question is wheel back spacing. I have 4.5” backspacing with 35s and no rubbing. Can I use the same 4.5” of backspacing without rubbing on 37s or will I need to add a 1” sheen spacer?

Should be ok,but those POCKET flairs are actually lower than the stockers ,they might rub.

Turn all the way, see how close they are to rubbing, add an inch to the radius and see if you still have room. That said, if we do a poll of 35" tires on wheels with 4.5" of BS, I'll bet good money that 90% of them rub hard on something. How yours don't is a mystery.

Yeah no I actually have a world of clearance, my control arms are bent for tire clearence but other than that everything is stock

Why do you care about backspacing? Are you building for function and performance?

No front swaybar, other than 4.5" of backspacing, oddly shouldered 35's, washers under the steering stops on the knuckles? No idea, all I know is his situation is vastly different than what we are used to.

Front sway bar is usually undone, I had molestar patagonias, maybe 3/16” of extra steering stop to clear my c gussets and calipers, axle is pushed forwards about 1.5”. Both performance and function, I want 37s so when I air down to 8 psi on the rubicon all the Little Rock’s don’t slow me down so much. YES it does just fine on 35s but with 101” wheel base and bead locks 37s will be better.

And there it is.

FYI- if we aren't allowed to discuss function and performance, neither are you.

That is a mistake and the benefit of offroad type swaybars can not be overstated.
I had molestar patagonias,
I'm sorry.
maybe 3/16” of extra steering stop to clear my c gussets and calipers,
If you have to remove steering angle to run C gussets, something is wrong. Not sure what the caliper thing is about unless the gussets are so big the caliper hits them which is again, a mistake.

You should invest in some knowledge about shocks and tuning them instead of blaming the lack of good discussions as to why you don't like it here. You don't want discussion, you want us to tell you how awesome your silliness is. The 37's will be a minor improvement for some things, they will not be an overall improvement due to the loss of effective wheelbase.

And before you get all snippy, you opened this door, not me.
