What did you do to your TJ today?

Has is always done that?

Could someone in the past have put the GM filler hose on it and the flapper is possibly stuck?

No the filler hose is stock, it has done it off and on, but you could position the pump handle so it would not kick off till it was full. Then it started doing it all the time.

I mean it's not a big deal, just aggravating.

Mine does the same thing - even with the Genright tank, a working rollover valve (Genright's is a different style that does not bind), and a clear vent tube. Always have to fill it slowly.

Yes, aggravating.

Wow you probably burn through gas faster than you can pump it back in with that Hemi then, huh?

Starter crapped out on me yesterday, it was the original starter so a 25 year life is nothing to be upset about. I'm just happy it happened at the gas station a few miles from the house vs. the night before after my gig that was an hour away. Having replaced many starters on many different vehicles I can say hands down this was the easiest and fastest starter swap I've done. Also changed the oil while I was under there cause it was time and I was planning on doing that anyways.

Installed new gas struts on the back glass. Got the apparent OEM brand, "Stabillus" which was certainly not what the old, failing struts were. I figure these new ones make the 3rd set for this Jeep.

I replaced the originals on my 2006 about five years ago. No problems, just do one at a time. Good luck!
