Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

What did you do to your TJ today?

Quadratec has a switch that you can put in the dome light fuse to interrupt the power with the doors off (or you can make your own). I have the Quadratec one installed and it works great.

^This.

I run one of these, and it's the simplest mod I've ever done to the rig. But big bang for the buck.

I never, ever run with the doors off, but I use this thing all the time. Comes in really handy when I'm working on the rig with the doors open or off for a long period of time.

5 stars. Would recommend.

🙂

I don't run doors off either, but my UCF trail doors don't have a tab to hit the switches. Hopefully when I pick up the Jeep 1/2 doors next week I can flip the switch back on so the lights work properly ;)

One of the first mods I added. Rarely switch it back on anymore but it’s easy to do when I want to.

For those of us with the stock mill and NGC PCM, I’m pretty sure there’s a timeout on the interior lights, unless I’m mis-remembering (the battery’s been out of mine for months during the build). I think I remember working inside and going, “Huh?” when the lights timed out.

My '06 times out after awhile. I don't think that was a feature in some of the earlier years.

Got behind some @$$hole in a tiny car again. Then I realized it's mine.

Pulled the fuel tank, reinstalled the splash back valve, worked on the vent line that goes back to the filler neck. Will go get $5.00 gas in the AM to see if the slow to fill is repaired.

Well BB is still slow to fill, I'm at a loss, but since I don't DD it anymore I'm not going to let it bother me.

Roll over/anti splash back valve is working.

Vent lines are all there.

🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️

I feel your pain. I put a UCF gas tank skid on before going to Moab. The TJ took a pounding on the ledges at Top of the World. Somewhere along the line, I developed a leak. Whenever I fill the tank, some fuel pours on the ground. Not a lot, but any is too much! I'm hoping it is something cheap. I have to drop the tank anyway as I didn't get the fuel pump aligned correctly. It will all wait until this winter. I have too many other things that have to get done before the winter hits.
