Colorado Krew Hangout

through all the countries i’ve been too. in the end all cities are the same, to find the core of the country you have to go to the small towns, experience the cultures, true you won’t find the arc de triumph, trafaglar gate, etc. Just find the area that makes you happy,

me i’m still searching, every three years 😂

right now i’m happy i’ve got a 20 minute backroad drive to DIA with international direct flights.

we came off the mountains at 2000’ over the top of Boulder airport and my wife asked what the smell was.

Cattle from Greely

We feel fortunate to live where we live. We’re North of Greeley a bit, so never get that smell and we’re higher, if you can believe it, than the front range corridor so we watch the smog settle in to our west and enjoy the clear blue skies around us. Usually we can see the mountain tops above the smog layer from Ft Collins towards the south. All depends on the weather, but 18 years here and I don’t have many complaints.

Almost went to school in Greeley. I grew up in Pueblo and moved to Pagosa Springs right out of college. I can’t imagine ever going back to a city. Our town is growing rapidly though with people fleeing Denver and California for the “best slope”.

Ran Moon and Gamble Gulch today, aspens are going nuts. This moose strolled out in front of us and closed the trail for awhile. He tolerated us for a bit then turned and squared off... we reversed out. You guys are going to have a good weekend in BV, guessing the drive up 285 is going to be beautiful

Look at the balls on that thing - you sure got the moneyshot. I hope someday to finally draw a bull moose tag...

It's fun seeing moose living in the wild.

He was big, balls to match. Didn't realize at time but a cow was with him too. Closer than I prefer to be. He eventually turned scratched once and dropped his head... we boogied out.

Hey know you guys just did Jeeptober but anyone down for another run before we start seeing snow? I'd like to get a day through Spring Creek, thinking Sunday the 19th or 26th? If there's any mid-weekers I can do any Monday or Thursday this month except for the two coming up
