it’s westminster, i can’t keep any of my facts straight.

i dug into the internets and only found the westminster address. bestop is to close to Bastrop and that’s where the twitter headquarters moved to and my attention span and squirrel

now it’s back to mountain bikes and repair stands

Agree, I mean it's cool it's near the mountains but there are many better places than it in the state that are IMO. Never been to pearl street though honestly but that isn't really on accident

You haven't missed anything , trust funder kids playing dirty foot hippies and BS hipsters thinking they are setting the music world on fire . On top of that , super high prices , smug political views , and best of all rising alien gang crime . Boulder , the answer for everything . :unsure:

Yeah sounds about what I expected. I spent enough time on 16th St Mall to know not to bother with pearl street. And it's not that I never went to Boulder I played softball there once a week for like 3 years... Just knew I wouldn't like the mall lol.

I grew up in a hippy college town, they’re all the same. I like the younger energy and colleges pay to keep crime lower… it’s bad for business. Aurora and Boulder are two totally different parties. Boulder is at the foothills, has river areas blocked off with beaches and for tubing. Boulder res has wakeboarding and beaches in the city. I see the appeal. Like any other town, avoid the “downtown” areas and the the rest is nice

Granted there is a reason I live where I live, I am not really into that kind of stuff either so it's not a redeeming factor for me

The low level chaos is part of appeal of city life. If you have a low tolerance for weird and do not want to be exposed to the rough realities of humanity, then this isn't the place.

Yep it is not for me. Going to metro and working on 16th I learned I have a very low tolerance for the filth, homeless, and smell of raw sewage. But to each their own, a lot of people don't understand how I can live so far from restaurants and grocery stores too.

Having lived in cities almost my entire life, I can tell you that the homeless tend to collect in the touristy downtown areas where there are more resources to scavenge. It isn't like that in the neighborhoods.

at least your in a better spot the. me, on windy days. which are often o get the pleasant smell of the cattle, doesn’t bother me. just some days are really thick.

Colorado’s a neat state aside from all the 14’ers

but it really did attract some uppity weirdos. all the ol’ Cowboys are in the country

I remember when I lived in Denver, if you could smell the cow shit from Greeley, it meant a storm was coming 🤣

I live here and know that is not quite true. But if the fear keeps more people from moving to Denver, then fine.

What do you mean it's not quite true? Like not literally every strip mall? It was a problem in Denver, Thornton, Aurora, and Glendale when I lived in all those places. And it's gotten worse since the rona
