Hi guys.

Im on the hunt for a light version of a tune up-kit. I dont know when it has been done since I bought it one year ago and I want to rule out some wierd stalling when accelerating. Right now I have put everything in cart from rockauto but would like your opinion. Or if you know something that is better.

Thanks.

The wire set comes with cap and rotor so why the separate C&R? The other item is plugs. Most here will advise you and others NOT to use anything but plain old Champion copper core plugs. Those are OEM installed. For whatever reason the 4.0 does not like all these hi tech super plugs. Lastly, OEM Mopar parts are your best bet although getting hard to find.

Thanks for the heads up! I have accidently added a "premade tune up-kit" - I have changed that now.
According to the spark plugs I have read multiple times that Iridium plugs are really good - thats why I chose them. But I understand what you mean. Also mopar parts are really hard to source nowadays, specially when you need to ship them oversea :(

I have Autolite Iridium plugs in my 4.0 and they are running great

The same I listed? Any thoughts or problems since you changed?

Did you ohm check your coil? No need to replace it unless it's out of spec.

I used Holley Accel for my distributor cap, rotor and coil. Autolite XP985 plugs. I grabbed some Summit Racing 8mm plug wires but just because they were on sale.

You might want to consider replacing the o-rings on your fuel injectors.

Idler, tensioner and crank pulleys along with the belt.

PCV valves and grommers on top of the valve cover and possibly the valve gasket...Felpro is good.

Clean your battery terminals and grounds. Clean your IAC. Inspect your wiring.

You have SKP plugs listed. I wouldn’t use those personally. I’d use Autolite iridiums if you can find them.

NOBODY I know would advise him to use CRAP Champion copper plugs.

Opinions are just that... Opinions. To each their own. Snake oil pugs are just that. Beside we own one of the most unreliable prone to break down vehicles made and your worried about changing plugs 3-4 times in 200K. :ROFLMAO:
