Fuel Pump Replacement?

What's your fuel pressure? Prevailing wisdom is don't fix what ain't broke.

Most of the original Bosch pumps run forever. Most of the replacements are trash.

Here's the best course of action if you do want to do a preemptive replacement. I carry a spare fuel pump (not assembly).

Good luck!

While the wisdom is true I'd rather not just wake up one morning and not be able to make it to work because thats the only thing I havent replaced.

And the converse is true as well... nothing sucks more than spending good money on new parts and hours of time swapping them out to wake up one morning and find out you can't get to work because that brand new part was worse than the twenty year old original.

I did three FelPro rear mains before I got a Mopar to work. Had to swap my transmission four times and the shop three more before I gave up on them getting their rebuilt AX-15 to work and I bought a new one from Novak.
