So as of last night i was cruising about 75-80mph on interstate from laramie to cheyenne. ended up hitting bump on the road that transitions into a bridge and it ended up giving me death wobble, pulled off to the side, torqued everything I could relating to the drag link, tie rod, and track bar. steering felt a little bit stiffer this time around but i noticed a vibration about 50-55mph. As I got back up to the speed limit again I had to cross another bridge, the same damn thing happened again. pulled off the road, checked torque. but still had the issue. Decided to turn back for laramie since i wasn't going to risk my life for some culvers lol. went outside today, retorqued lug nuts, tie rod ends, pitman arm, track bar, lower and upper trailing arms, ended up switching out a bolt from the trackbar drop bracket since the bolt supplied from rock krawler was to short, got a longer shank and a new nut and torqued it. everything is new since its been rolled of last year. Replaced ball joints, steering knuckles, wheel hubs, everything you could think of. I do hear a whistle on the driver front side at 30 mph or slower speeds, brake pads are 4mm thick, so i'm thinking it could be the wheel hub itself from offroading? part of me is also wondering about getting the wheels and tires balanced since i have a shimmy about 50-55mph. I just wanted to reach out and get some of y'alls thoughts since i've mainly touched everything I could without throwing parts at it.

Search Dry steer test- perform running and non running .

could

you think an alignment would go a long way as well? steering wheel is straight but that doesn't mean my toe could be affecting it as well

Checking the toe yourself only takes a few minutes. I had DW a few months ago, after not driving my Jeep for a while. Some of the stick-on balance weights had fallen off one of my front wheels and my track bar bolt had loosened up slightly.

Just performed one, didn’t see anything track bar related, everything steering except for the passenger side was good. Passenger joint moved up and down. I’m running the curry link HD steering kit. It’s still under manufacture warranty since I bought it almost 2 years ago in October

I haven’t done a balance on my tires since roughly about this time last year, used to work at a dealer but moved to Wyoming for school. I’ve kept up on rotations however but I know that doesn’t fix everything except for mainly cupping

Doesn’t take much…keep us posted. You will get it resolved.

From the front it looks like the toe may be off on the driver side, got it jacked in the air and spun the tires however both wheels spin freely the same. Not sure what else to really look at as of right now
