What did you do to your TJ today?

5 min ain't enough time to get a couple beers in ya. Or maybe it is.😆

I quit drinking about 2yrs ago so.....yeah....😅

While it warms up, I can also start putting these in.

A most satisfying project I've had on the back burner for about 2yrs. That's when I came across a YouTube video about putting Mercedes dope light switches in place of the tj switches. ( For those that don't know, dope light is a 70s term. If a cop saw your dome light on at night it usually means you're rolling a j or filling a bowl. Time to check what's going on. ) Anyway, about these switches is they have a special function. Pull the plunger out a click and it disables the dope light. Perfect doors off solution.

Took about 1.5 hour taking my sweet time.

No photos but installed the correct Rubi rocker side fasteners sent from the Quail Valley Jeep rock star that is @mrblaine, thank you again sir. Also bit the bullet and purchased a Replace-A-Top to correct some fatal issues with Tessie's Trektop NX (numerous zippers fecked royally). Not much worse than having a soft top installed and not being able to remove it or any of the panels for the very real fear of not being able to put it all back together again. I should have done this earlier in the year.

Sorry the one’s I sent weren’t the right one’s. I was pretty sure that is what they were from.

Not to worry, they were the correct size and worked for installation, but a bit on the long side.

I should have given you another nod for working with me to get those rockers shipped from the left coast and keeping them in such good shape while you had them. I'm going to freshen up the finish for appearance sake only at some point, but they're in fine shape as is and fully installed. As I noted to you in our DM, I think they finish off the bottom of the tub nicely and I'm very happy to have them.

Don't worry, you done good. I just tend to be a bit more of a nerd about keeping fasteners with whatever they were holding in place. I have bags of bellhousing bolts zip tied to bellhousings so I don't have to try and remember where they are or what they are.

Glad they went to a good home!

I just bought my '05 Rubicon and it needed some basic love. What I've done the last month:

New Banks exhaust manifold and full Monster exhaust

New cats

New valve cover gasket

New Autolite XP985s

New MicTuning LED headlights

New intake manifold

40 ounces of Techron to clean the fuel injectors-they we're pretty bad but good now

Next thing up is the rear locker...hopefully a hose issue but I'm expecting a bad pump.
