Fed-ex arrived today with some goodies…
I’m working all weekend and fly out to the land of jeepsOn Thursday…. So they will have to wait until I get back from my vacation

Yep… time to put my big boy pants on and embrace a 2 inch lift that I said I would do 10 years ago
I have a long trip planned with just my daughter and I early part of next year so trying to get the Jeep to ride a little bit better.
Truth is I’ve been very happy with my old TJ for 12 years and it’s been good the whole time…so why change it. ( plus parts down here are really difficult to find and expensive) but I want to go from rides good to rides great .

got my transmission back from transmission rebuild shop for my 97 jeep TJ automatic.. my jeep is not leaving 1st gear. And it will scream in first gear. Absolutely will not shift to second. Unless I manually shift it to second, then it shift absolutely great manually. No hard shifting, no delayed shifting, just wont leave first gear by itself. Then once I manually shift to second it will not shift back to 1st when coming to a stop on its own…

All over the place with lots of driving lol Starting off in St George ( Bryce Canyon antelope Canyon etc) then going down to Provo ( delicate arch and Moab) one night in Vegas back to LA , San Diego then fly home.
I wish I was going to Utah
Rekey new ignition cylinder. Only way to get new tumblers was to buy a Dorman cylinder that came with sets of tumblers.
Still need to get a couple of new transponder keys cut and programmed as the original is pretty worn too. $$
