Toyota lights on your TJ! Cheap, quality LED alternative

So you got better forward vision, but have an inability to move in the forward direction?

Yeah, on my 4th nsg, going for 5, takes me about 10 hours to swap
Taking lights before lockers a bit too literal

E-lockers are installed, atlas and a woody shaft, owned it 6 years now, still never been registered or anywhere besides my shop and around home

Yeah, I has been contemplated

Is the 5th NSG the one you just mentioned in another thread? I saw the pic with some bits on the magnet which you said was hopefully from the dyno. Is the verdict in on that one yet? Rooting for you.

Another one will be shipped next week, ugh

I've had the Toyota harness & Koito lights installed for a few months now and suddenly had an issue where my high beams wouldn't turn off with the car. It ended up that one of the 2 new relays had failed. The part number is Omron G8HN-1A4T-RJ (made in China). I ended up having to replace with an Import Direct 25-01237 (also made in China) relay from Oreilly's. Seems like quality Made in Japan components don't exist anymore.

So, in case anyone experiences an issue where they cannot turn headlights off without disconnecting the battery, the new relays are a good thing to check.

This thread is getting old, but I just found it and googled the part number, these things are $16? for both sides? Really?

I think that's cheaper than buying two sealed beam headlights..... What am I missing?

I ordered mine directly through the local Toyota dealer because every on-line source wanted like $90 for shipping. Even through the dealer they were only $23. When I got them I was very happy with the quality of the kit - that wiring harness would be $200 most places. Installed them immediately and have been very happy with the kit. (This was a year and a half ago.)
