Egypt?

Yes, been to Cairo twice. It's a city of 16-20M people that has 1 semi-functional traffic light that drivers tend to disobey. Pretty much nothing has a price tag on it. It's chaos. There were many things I liked about it.

Your style of dressing ain't quite what I wear but it has been a part of Egypt for at least a few centuries

Of course the LGBTF+ group had to get involved with their activism

And Egypt might not have exact laws against it but probably more than a few Egyptians certainly don't like it

I imagine you know even more than this, just keep it in mind even in the "safest" parts of that country.

I was about to suggest zorba know general feeling about that before proceeding to wear or perform with dancers.

Depending on where in Egypt. Taba & Eilat (Israel) have some of the best beaches, snorkeling/scuba, and hiking.

Can you expand on the differentiation so I can better understand this?

What differentiation? A cross dresser wears something that can only realistically be worn by the opposite gender. That really boils down to two items; the bra, and the jockstrap. Even then, there are men who actually need to wear a bra (gynecomastia aka "moobs"); fortunately, I'm not one of them! I can't think of a single example of how a woman would need a jockstrap though.

Other than those 2 examples, its just clothing that fits anyone. Back in the day, women who wore pants were called "crossdressers" too, even though they really weren't.

We're doing all the ancient temples. We have 3 days in Cairo, for the pyramids and all that - and hopefully Muhammed Ali street which is the costume district. Maybe I can order myself a Madame Abla costume if they'll make me a vest. Madame Abla died a few years back, but its my understanding that her costume outfit is still in business. There are also plenty of others.

Then we fly down to Aswan for Abu Simbel and the isle of Philae, followed by a private boat down the Nile, stopping off at various points of interest along the way. Lastly we end up in Luxor, with Karnak, valley of the kings and all that good stuff. 5 days in Luxor. Then we fly home, or at least out. I'd kind of like to squeeze in a trip to Siwa Oasis afterwards, but dunno how possible that's gonna be.

I always thought was more than that.

Anyway, have fun on the trip. The pyramids are a bucket list thing for me to do someday.

Yea, it should be a great trip, esp. since its with a bunch of Belly Dancers and we're taking our time. Bonus is that there's going to be at least one Pagan priestess with us, maybe two, possibly a priest as well. A sunrise ritual at Karnak would be da bomb!

Ahhh, back in my Navy days we got to go to Israel but not Egypt. The reason they gave was we didn’t have enough of the quinine to go around on the ship. Not sure how malaria is a problem in such a desert environment?
Do you have to get any extra immunizations to visit?
