Beat, battered, and bashed, I am.

I have 3 dance teachers and I'm in classes 4 nites a week. One of the teachers is going to "pumpkin out" and move away in a couple of months, so I thought I'd pick up a new Egyptian style class on Wednesday nite that is held just before the "Belly Yoga" class I'm in anyway. Its taught by the "Belly Yoga" class instructor's daughter. Said daughter subbed for tonite's class, "Belly Dance Fitness Fusion" (which I call "Belly Dance Fitness Crucifixion") which is normally taught by her mother.

I'm 65, Mom is 45 and kicks my ass every week; but daughter is either 19 or 20, I forget which. I crawled out of "Fitness Fusion" tonite. I don't think daughter's Egyptian style class is nearly as intense, because if it is, I'm not gonna be able to keep up! Call the corpsman, put me and my rifle on the stretcher, and carry me off the battlefield... ;)
Try logging on the NW coast. You'll find out what fitness and fatigue mean. 😊

It's good for you. My dad just turned 60. When I was a kid he had a ton of back problems, to the point where playing with us kids outside or yard work like splitting wood could only be done for short periods of time. Fast forward to now, he has been doing cross-fit for 5 years with a neighbor who is a personal trainer and kinesiologist. He is in better shape now than ever before, and it has no doubt extended his life expectancy and improved every day life.

We just finished loading a 30 yard rolloff with construction and forest debris carried up the mountain 125 Ft. . I calculated it out and my wife and I moved 1576 pounds a day for 6 days . 9460 lbs total . Yesterday I carried another 2400 lbs. of wood pellets from the store yard , to the Taco , and the Taco to the garage .

We are thankful ( and tired ) to still be able to do work neither set of our parents could do at 65.
