Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Of course they had to go and laser cut the logo right on the side where it can catch pebbles, mud, and junk against the wall of the gas tank. I bet if these morons sold a gas tank, they would laser cut a logo into the side of it so that it leaks fuel 🙄. They just can’t help themselves.

I believe there was an old prototype that had a bunch of cuts in the side. I don't think it was really an issue since plastic and aluminum don't rust

At some point, I'd suspect OG Savvy sales will be gone. I'd be curious to know revenue over the years, now that the TJ/LJ is nearing 25 years since production. I'm sure it has gone down and at what point are sales worth the production? Our TJ's and LJ's we're seeing fewer on the roads and our cult for good quality aftermarket parts, by enthusiasts like us, is being replaced by the rough country rubber duck-loving breed.

I said this a couple years ago in this thread. Once the merge happened TJ / LJ items are the least of their concern. I'm just glad the @Fluxor is picking up the slack and making killer items for us now.

Is his wait time any better? Does he include stickers?
p.s. A local guy was trying to sell his LJ Fluxor corner armor at a reduced price.

Sent me stickers and got his rocker guards before I even had time to install them

That could mean you are patient and work too much. I hear "Savvy Like" stories with delivery times. If I order anything and it takes more than a week to receive it, it gets returned. I have a limited time to do anything Jeep related.

Unfortunately it takes 1 person more than 1 week to fulfill 50 orders. Especially since he's designing other parts and isn't doing this but as a side hobby.

His website has the in stock ready to ship stuff. He’s shipped the instock stuff quick.

Not instock stuff, ya email to get on a waitlist which gets priority over the website. Does suck to wait but the aluminum options are savvy prices with not as great designs or wait for flux.

I got my order through for control arms, and belly and engine skid plate in on Friday. Gerald got back to me right away with this email;

"I'm current back ordered on a couple of items and should have them within soon.

The Engine Skids are on order nad should be here when I return from. the 4th of July.

The Upper Control links are due in two weeks. I have sent everything else so you can get started on your installation."

The belly skid, hardware, lower control links, and a full box of johnny joints showed up yesterday without any issue.

He also emailed me that the engine skid parts are guaranteed Monday and to ship out Tuesday.

This right here and he's been great with communication. Will definitely get more of my money over savvy.

Time to hire employees to call it a business for tax purposes.

No.

He called me personally multiple times to figure out how to best fix an issue with early TJs and his rocker guards. He constantly apologized and made it right with me. I can't ask for better service than that. You cannot get that kind of service when you go big, as we've found by Savvy.

Savvy was never big. 🤫

That was my jeep I bought back. Sold it with the corner armor and got it back. It’s going on along with more flux goodness!

I have a flux koozie so that’s nice!

The only remaining savvy part I want someday is a mid arm.
