What did you do to your TJ today?

Waiting for the BedRug to arrive so I tackled the new foam for the drivers seat. Went much better than I anticipated.

If you're doing both simultaneously, do the corners first. Easier to get the rockers to match up than vice versa. Have a second pair of hands to help, I also used like 8-10 clamps to pull everything up tight. Mine still have to come off again for paint, gonna put a small bead of silicone along the top and leading edge too.

Good advice on corners first - I have had my sliders previously installed but they're off now for paint so I'll put on the corners before re-fitting the sliders as I can always re-drill/dremel slider mounting holes if I need (mine are through-bolted, not nutserts - so more flexibility to adjust alignment).

I hit up HF and have about 12 clamps ready to go, knowing that's a big help/need.

Bought the TJ a new hauler. The plan is to build a crawler hauler with a 21' camper on the front. I'm tired of paying for a cabin or hotel when we go. Going once a month is starting to add up.

Wow - that is one big trailer. 😳 Sounds like a cool plan. Looking forward to seeing what you do.

That's what she said....

It is a 37'+3' dove. I wasn't sure I was going to like the mega ramps from previous experiences. With them only being 3' long, they are not much heavier than standard stand up ramps.

So finally got home and was pleasantly surprised to have received my skid from Mr. Blaine. Started installing everything and found this nice shard of bellhousing hanging on for dear life... it doesn't seem structural so here's to hoping. Also I have to replace the rear u joint before I can drive it drive it but the clutch is good so there's that.
