What did you do to your TJ today?

Opinions on this?
What's yalls Opinion on this axle shaft,I was pressing out the old bearings and found out the P.O of my axle cut a nice groove trying to get the bearing out.....

It's almost an 1/8th inch deep at its deepest point

So long as it doesn't impact where the oil seal seats - I'd hit it with some high-grit sand paper to smooth it out for the new bearing journal. And then...

Time Send It GIF

My 2 cents anyway....

Yeah it doesn't interfere with the sealing surface 😁! I already pressed the bearings on anyways....
It didn't break for years with the P.O on 35s and he drove like a hood rat like me kinda (from what he told me but didnt see any twisting on thr shafts....) so ill how she does with me on 33s😆

I did something similar a couple years ago. View attachment 626588
Looks great! What sport cage do you have?

I think the pods sound better. It may just be that the sound is projected towards me instead of down. I probably won't put my full soft top back on, but instead the Bestop tonneau and soft back behind the seats since we will wheel most of the winter.

New to me 2001 TJ. I've renewed all the fluids and she drives great. Starting to clean up the interior. Ordered a full Bed Rug kit and CalTrend seat covers.

Removing the seats to clean up 24 years of filth and it got ugly, FAST! :(

You had better luck on that removal that I've had on seats - I still have a broken extractor in a broken bolt for one of my rear seat brackets from years back... Going to try to weld on a nut from underneath when that hits to the top of the 'to do' list.

Please share your thoughts on the Bed Rug. My interior is stripped for me to detail and I want to go with a carpet (I've sold my OEM carpet years back) and looking for feedback on options.

If you dont already have them, I highly recommed the PRP bags that Genright has for these doors. How do you like the arms rest? I've had them on my wish list forever

I do have the bags, gotta put them on. I really like the arm rests, and getting them for free made them even better lol
