So, I know this is just an opinion post. But what would you do? So I’m looking to get a few upgrades. Savvy Control arms all 8. Mickey Thompson Baja boss legends Mtz. And currectlync steering. Which would you go for first? I currently have zj steering, stock upper CA, pro comp lower that PO had. Currently have cooper discovery A/T 33x12.5x15
Again I know it’s an opinion, but I’m assuming priority wise would be to get the angle dialed in. Thanks. If I got with CAs is the new Savvy CAs worth the price of $1999
Thanks

Looking at your profile I would say either control arms to have the adjustability for setting pinion angle and centering axles or new tires to have better traction. You've already got ZJ steering which is an upgrade over stock so you can ride that for a bit.

Would depend on tire condition and future build plans - Cooper are good tires themselves.

Are the arms worth it - if you plan to build, yes.

if built and you change to bigger tires later- yes

and if you wheel it, regardless, yes.

I like a stronger upper passenger side axle mount for the CA and good track bars.

I have the same tires, same arms in aluminum, Clayton arms, etc. - 2 rigs, and have had a few so I’ve been down the rabbit hole. Ain’t found a rabbit yet.

Good parts make good rigs.

What are trying to accomplish with the "upgrades"?

What's your end goal? Wheel it and abuse it, or mall crawl like @TheBoogieman and @AndyG 🤣🤣

I did that on 33's with a RC lift for a couple of years. Then I started upgrading. Im still on 33's but now have Metalcloak aluminum arms (not a lot of love for them on here) and just waiting to get out and try them out.

If you don't already have them, get a set of quick discos for the front swaybar or a Rockjock antirock or a sway lock.

Try it and see how you're Jeep does.

If I were buying wheels I would go with 16” instead of 15”. I know that we want more rubber than metal, but the selection of 15” tires is getting pretty slim. Maybe 15” sizes are becoming obsolete. I don’t know.

I’d echo this, i’m pretty satisfied with our choices in the 315/75r16 size. I’d assume the same would be true in 285/75r16 which i think are about a 32-33” tire.

I thought 16s were becoming obsolete,From what I've seen with Tacoma guys stepping up to 17s since 16s have limited sizes

Discount tire had a good selection of r15s At/Mt tires when I bought a set of tires, those being some nexen roadian roadian Atx's back in January(I'm already due for a new set here soon so ill see if the r15 selection is still good!)

Yes, 15s are slowly disappearing, but 16's are disappearing faster. Unfortunately, 17's are the way of the world now, but nobody makes 17's for a 5x4.5 with the proper backspacing. Seems like there could be a market for them, but I'm probably biased.

16" wheels don't typically have a safety bead either as they are classically a heavy truck rim that relies on high pressure to stay beaded, if you plan to air down, a 16 might not be for you.

I'd first go do full set of savvy arms,Get the Og version they're cheaper! and no you don't need the extra misalignment the from the narrow Rock crawler joints&Jhonny joints the new savvy arms have!...... I was in that rabbit hole for a day and just went with the Og version on the memorial day sale for $1440.33😁 just about nobody has said any complaints of lack of misalignment the savvy arms have

The Zj steering upgrade is great for the money and the currie is the next best thing! So your good steering wise!
