I've finally come to realize that my obsessive nature has me never satisfied with whatever level of build my vehicles are currently set up for.
Ever since I got my jeep I've been planning on big axles and 37's and comp cuts and all this grandiose stuff that I wouldn't even know how to use. I'm not that good of a driver yet.
SO, my plan now is to focus on what I've got now, a rig on 35's and actually learn how to wheel with that set up. @hosejockey61 has been a huge inspiration with his videos for me to see what a jeep on 35's is actually capable of. Thank you!
So the plan for now is to build my d30hp with a 30 spline air locker, remove the spool from my 44 rear and replace it with an air locker, keep my 4.88 gears and remove the rockkrawler long arm and build my own midarm. Will also focus on keeping the overall weight in check.
This website is great for learning WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS and what is just an advertisement.
Cheers!

"Focus on what I've got now" and add lockers to both diffs and rebuild the suspension. Just Empty Every Pocket.

Well right now it's got an automatic Locker in the front and a spool in the rear and the spool drives me nuts on the street. I wouldn't be having fun if I wasn't modifying it but I don't need such grandiose plans when I wouldn't even know how to wheel it properly. Plus I like to do this kind of work and i'll be doing all the fabricating and gears myself.

Always gonna be someone saying a rear spool wouldn't bother them but I bet it's annoying AF. You'll enjoy it a lot more if it's enjoyable to drive and easy to control.

That clicking will stress out the OCD
