What did you do to your TJ today?

Got the Auxbeam and @Urban 3D panel in, and the wee lil 8" Kicker Tube, as well as new 4x6s and 5.25s, with the amp tucked up under the steering wheel. Mounting the tube upright leaves plenty of room for tools, air compressor, recovery gear, etc. Not a lot of room in the Tuffy enclosure, but I think I'll be happier with this than sacrificing all the extra space I have in my "non-subwoofer" center console.

Definitely an upgrade from the blown Sony Xplods I've been annoyed with for 8 years.

Good lord, is that a droid?

A month ago I flushed the radiator and put new antifreeze in. Yesterday I walked out to take a ride to town and guess what I found under the Jeep? Yep a big puddle of new clean fresh antifreeze. The pump has bit the dust. New pump is on the way so today I’ll be pulling the old pump off.
Bought the Jeep four years ago with a freshly replaced pump. Wonder what the previous owner put in?

I have the same Kicker sub. Even with the top off and running 65 MPH, it really sounds good.

Got my brand new Bestop Trektop NX in yesterday after selling the Smittybuilt hard top that was on the jeep when I bought it. Never liked the roof line of that top and prefer the frameless look much more. Now to wait for a good sunny day and a little healing from my minor surgery tomorrow and I'll get it installed.

Also in waiting, have the monstaliner kit to do the floor, need to repaint fender flares, and install wiring harness that came with Toyota lights so I can change to a 100W bulb.

Dang if life don't get busy at times and slow down side projects!!:ROFLMAO:

We love out Trektop NX! Our original top was in good shape, but it was just too difficult to take down & put back up. We had to wait for a really hot day or the fabric wouldn’t stretch enough to put it back. I also like the frameless feature. It’s much sim& looks great.

I didn't have any papers to write and I didn't have any papers to grade, so I spent all evening in the carport. Changed oil and spark plugs. Put a couple of trim pieces back on that I left off from when I was fiddling with the resistor a while back. Also finally remembered to tighten up the bolts under the passenger seat from when I replaced the seat cushions an even longer while back. Also bought ball joints for my son's TJ. Gonna work on his Saturday.

I'm curious to see the pictures. We're heading into 115+ summer temperatures in the next month or two and I could use some overhead insulation.

If I was to do it again I may try a larger piece. They make some board that are like 3 feet by 4 feet. Might be easy. Mine were like 24' by 24" I still have three full sheets left over. Also, I only used 1/2 inch thick, you could try 1" for more insulation. There are a lot of options. This stuff is super light and I think it will stay up with the self adhesive stuff.
