That's just his filament dryer, Jeff. You should see the printer!
An all analog printer would have to be huge.

He wont see any of these until next week, dialup takes forever to load images.
I'm a bit younger than you (same generation, though), and not only did I miss any vacuum tube theory in college, but I also missed punch cards by one year. We did our FORTRAN class work on dummy terminals or, in my case, via a terminal emulator and 300 baud modem on my first-year Mac (1984).I was actually in the very last class taught vacuum tube theory in tech school! I've always liked tubes...

I do wish I knew more about vacuum tubes, though. That's one of those forgotten technologies that seems to be of the type that makes you go, "whoever came up with this was a technical stud!" once you know about it.
Removed the cruise control module from under the hood; didn't need it with the aftermarket steering wheel.
I also installed the Teraflex hand throttle to tie me over until this winter when I swap the manual to an auto. After backing it out of the garage using the hand throttle, that is going to take A LOT of getting used to.

I installed a 37 dollar headliner. 1/2” studio foam self adhesive. We will see if stays up. I post a few pics later.
There is no way I was spending 200 to 300 for a headliner.
So far it seems to keep the cab a little cooler with the AC on. Radio sounds better. And, it's even a bit quieter on the highway.
If it falls down I'll staple it in my studio around the drum set. lol
Finally got my new 15” wheels and tires installed. I now kinda wish I would have went back to stock height instead of having a new 2.5” lift installed when I had a bunch of work done this winter. Oh well always an option down the road I suppose.
But these mammoth boulder in charcoal are sweet.I went with the Falken Rubitrek AT. They were new on Tire Rack and cheaper than the Wildpeaks I ran in the past.

Those are hands down my favorite aftermarket wheel on a TJ and with the White Jeep..
I'm kind of a stock wheel guy but I'd have to agree with you there, especially in the darker charcoal color. I think it has the right mix of classic and modern in its design. I've seen some wheels on TJ's that to me felt a little too modern for the body style.
