Noone in my family goes bald although I guess I could be the first

I'm of fair skin, fair haired northern European breeding. That coupled with folicly challenged immediate genetics meant it was always going to be an uphill battle to keep what I had at the "hair apex" of my life.

I've got a couple coworkers that started balding in their early 20s

Not much, repaired the small evap leak with a zip tie. Next i removed the smittybuilt side windscreens. And moved the rear one to behind the front seats, then I installed a tonneau cover over the rear.

Does that screen help cut down on the backdraft in rain storms? I always find in rain, with the top up but no doors & windows - my left side (that would be the one towards the outside of the Jeep - for @Kiwi TJ's reference) would stay fairly dry due to the wind coming off the grill & windshield pushing the rain past the door opening.

But my right side arm/shoulder/etc (against the console) would get the most wet from the rain wiping past the seats and then wind drafts pulling it back in and around behind the seat and onto the console area.

Curious if you noticed this effect and any difference with the screen cover behind the seats?

When i had all three screens in i could tell a small difference, until the rear screen got fully soaked. Then I was big drops coming through the screen.

I am wanting the duster tonneau cover that basically makes it like a half cab.

Bestop is just to dang pricey.

Might be different size mesh would help more. I really don’t have problems with the rain with doors off, Doors on the heater can keep up with freezing temps

I just moved it today to behind the seats. Could be when it was at the rear, the rain running off the roof was saturating the mesh.

Agreed! Jeep/Chrysler/Daimler didn't do us right on a lot of things - but the heater is top tier in the TJ!

Replaced the driver and passenger door seals. Now I have to slam them to close. Hopefully that will loosen a tad over time.

I also replaced the clock spring as I am chasing the notorious airbag light. New spring in, airbag light still on. The chace continues! I did get a blue driver code reader as it supposedly can read the SRS codes. Doesn't seem like it on a '99 TJ. May just run it over to o'riley to borrow their code reader.
