A friend, a female landscaper, wants to buy my modified TJ Rubicon. I’m a little concerned about the suitability, but she’s comfortable around machines a does not seem to be intimidated. I’ve been away from Jeeping for awhile now (old) and would value opinions on the market value of the Rubicon before the “friend’s discount.” I hope this post isn’t inappropriate for any reason; I just signed up as a Supporting Member. Thanks!

The price would depend on how good of a "friend" she is. Check similar Jeeps in your area. TJs don't sell for high prices where I live.

I see the forum isn’t immune to Forum Rat Humor. Clever. Maybe I’ll ask for my $40 back.

Only you can determine the worth of the Jeep and if the person is a friend or an acquaintance.

What is it worth to you? Folks here can tell you what they think, but the decision still is yours.

Now for the Rat humor, you ain't seen nothing yet!

The market determines the “worth” of the Jeep. I determine the selling price. All I’m looking for is some considered opinions. I’ve received none so far. Is my original post offensive for some reason?

Not to me, but if I were to sell my Rubicon, I would set my price without anyone else's help. That's just me.

Actually, you might want to scroll back up and notice you've received several, from folks in Colorado no less. When I was looking for my TJ a few months ago, I saw several similar to yours listed in the $16k-25k range. The ones on the lower end sold quickly, the ones on the upper end did not. I would say $22k is probably a solid number for yours.
