I’ve been having the common heat soak issue when starting after the engines warm so i ordered the Design Engineering fuel rail cover kit to try and help with that.

I was looking around the engine today and noticed 4 out of my 6 injectors have some pretty decently sized cracks. Now my jeep is running perfectly fine but I figured since I’m gonna be half way there to install the fuel rail cover, I might as well take care of the injectors before they start causing me issues.

What are the recommend fuel injectors? Not too concerned on the price unless it something astronomical. I’d rather do it right the first time.

Thanks in advance !

Bosch makes good ones.

There is a lot of crap flying around about all the different injectors with varying nimber of holes. None of them are going to produce as claimed. Stick with 1 or 4.

Also, buy the injectors from an actual reputable place as there are load of chinesium fakes clogging up the internet.

Yeah I’ve done a little bit of searching and the Bosch injectors seem to have a good reputation in terms of quality. I can’t seem to find a part number for the exact ones that fit and the few places I’ve found online are all selling rebuilt ones.

I don’t mind going the rebuilt route but I’d like to see what the price difference is for a brand new set.

I think I have used precision auto injectors...or something like that. Search it up and see what you find.

Now, I know there are various part numbers. At least that is what I remember. I physically called before ordering.

So far the Ksuspension 4 hole injectors are working well for me. 8000 miles on them so far. I think they were like $150 for all six. The Jeep definitely ran smoother after but I don't know if that's because of the 4 port thing or just the old O rings being worn out. Mine were also cracked.

Precision auto has a set of 6 rebuilt Bosch injectors for $320

And K suspension has a set of 6 reman bosch’s for $150.

I can’t find a set of new ones anywhere.

It is possible that they no longer have a daily production run but only produce when rebuild stocks are low. The only way to find out is to call Bosch and try to get a part number.

just got off the phone with Bosch and they told me they quit making injectors for our tjs.

Also called precision auto injectors and they're selling reman units just like K Suspension.

I'm just gonna go with K Suspension, they have good reviews and are less than half the cost of precision.

There isn't necessarily anything inherently wrong with rebuilt injectors, provided they are rebuilt correctly, but I would try to purchase ones where they can provide a flow test report. I don't know about the places listed in this thread, but I have more than once encountered rebuilt injectors that were never flow tested and were prone to dribbling fuel rather than atomizing it.
