LOL!
I’ve been collecting misspellings on the WTJForum for the last couple months. It’s a penchant for me because my mom was a really good speller. She was second place in the 1960’s in the Dallas Morning News Spelling Bee. Thus, I was not permitted to get away with any kind of nonsense when it came to spelling. I hope you enjoy this little post, and if you know of others please post.

- Sillynus (it really is)
- Programed (guessing you don’t work with computers)
- Defiantly (definitely an anger management problem)
- Wench (you’re not pulling your weight)
- Axel (maybe you should stick to figure skating)
- Piece of mind (literally
) - Visable (
not anything to do with Visa) - Lose for loose (you’re killing me. These don’t even sound the same)
- Steal or steel (metal and theft are not even remotely the same. Don’t let the chiastic order confuse which is which)
- Staired (well, I hope you didn’t fall down them)
- Break or brake (if you don’t have the latter you’ll probably have the former)
- There or their (point or just own it, but don’t confuse these)
- Sale or sell (nouns and verbs matter, don’t sale it)
- Expresso machine (you must be a guy)
- Quiet or quite (extremely different. Please shut up)
- Websight (WTH?!)
- Your and You’re (you’re probably NOT qualified)
- It’s and it’s (see, your phone doesn’t know the difference, so if it’s smart, you’re just as smart)
- Alot (you will see this one ‘a lot’)
