In the past, I have neglected my Johnny Joints for at least 30k miles. The ones I needed to replace or shim were never the uppers.
Were those that you replaced/shimmed bad enough to notice a loss of control of the axle while driving or wheeling?

I didn’t even pay that close of attention. I assumed at 2k that was the mid arms but it’s just short arms.
Why would you not just get the old arms with JJ? Advertising? Not adding up.
Does anyone else offer this arm in 6061? Are they only in competition with there own arm?

Rock jocks are not double adjustable lowers for a full set at $1,850.
Metalcloak has aluminum double adjustable using their joints for $1,750
Core 4x4 are similar to rock jock with single adjustable with all Johny joints for $1,425
These are the only ones I think of that are competing with savvy.

The code ARMOR may give you free shipping on it if you want the rope.
Weren't the "old" Savvy arms also 7075? At least the lowers. Or is that just the midarm?
Why is the rock slider jutting out into the wheel well in that diagram of the inner fenders?

The sliders fit stock fenders, they need to get trimmed for any aftermarket fender if you want it to look good. Standard procedure for installing full length sliders with after market fenders.
I was being an ass. Could have been an oversight on Savvy’s part or they wanted to show how much more back one would gain.
P.s. nice build projects you’ve got going on with your rig!
I'm not entirely certain for the swap to a narrow JJ though. My understanding is both ends have to twist the same amount if they're locked together by the jam nut.
