Yea, I don't know what engine I'll get. Probably is going to depend on whats the cheapest at the time. I'll probably be in college when the engine goes. I'd like a bit more power but with that comes trannys, transfer cases, axles, ETC... I might just go for another 4.0. I like how reliable they are and it would be an easy swap.

I've only ever been in one diesel so I don't know much about them. The one I was in redlined at 2500 so I'm assuming most diesels redline at low RPM. I like being able to rev to about 5k so we'll see.

Old post but 163k on my 04 sport when I got it in May. Not sure what actual miles may be since it came with 30 inch tire option but P235 on it now. Would that mean it has more or less actual miles?
