Been gone for a long time but I’ll be picking up my new project this weekend. Flying to NC and driving back to IN. Stock LJ currently and very clean. 1 owner and 51k miles. Not sure about build plans yet, but I’m leaning maybe just a 2-3” lift and no bigger than 315s. Prefer to keep the stock moabs on this one.

First “mod” was taking the not for me black Westin tubular side steps off.

Yep. Flew down Saturday morning and got back late Saturday night. 10 hr drive to break her in lol.

After much debate I really think I’m going to leave it alone and not lift it. Just going to swap tires and get it detailed inside and out. Rides to nice to mess with it. I know I would have been much happier in my previous tj if I had left it alone haha.

You can't go wrong by leaving it stock and enjoying it. Is this going to be a daily or occasional driver? With those miles, I'm guessing the latter.

I’m going to ask a dumb question, when you remove the steps (and other less than desirable mods) do you try to resell them or just scrap/trash them?

I took the hitch off and the Westin steps. I’ve got them in my shed currently. Will go on marketplace when I get around to it more then likely
